Introduction
( 2012)As I begin the process (with G-d’s help) of publishing my first book, I am reviewing journal entries from years ago.
I have kept all my writings hidden, sharing only some with a limited few, afraid of being judged. I used to think it was my grandiose Ego that made me think I had any thing of value to say, which was followed by my insecure and scared parts screaming back that I did not.
I hope I’ve reached a place of trust – trust in myself, trust in G-d, and trust in the Universe, as I prepare to put my innermost thoughts and feelings out into the world.
I ask myself the three questions from my Primordial Sound Meditation course from the Chopra Center and let the universe organize the details
The Three Questions are:
Who am I?
What do I truly want?
What is my dharma? How can I use my unique gifts and talents to heal and to serve?
When I recently reviewed those questions with my friend Judy, the answers were:
I am a writer.
I want to be a channel for peace and harmony, love and laughter.
My dharma is to share my story, plant the seeds, and let the universe use them as it sees fit.
There are many journal entries, poems, stories, screenplay beginnings, book outlines, book chapters, articles, workshops, books in progress that the task of sorting, editing and organizing has felt daunting, if not impossible.
With a renewed sense of trust and confidence, I’ll show up in the present and do my part, taking some small action each day to change the direction of my life.
Little by little, word by word and page by page, I’ll be lead in the direction of the Highest Good.
And the winds will take these seeds where they are needed.
9/27/14 – and so I begin, again….with G-d’s help…
7/17/18 – and today I publish!
